'Components' is a textile collection inspired by the characteristics shared between science and design. Both fields form an integral part of everyday life, determining the form of the world in the arrangement of singular elements, be they DNA, genes and proteins, or design elements and motifs. The collection encourages an equal appreciation of the two fields in accentuating their similarities. Each 'Components' design incorporates motifs which are comprised of repeated contributory elements.
