'Contributions' is a contemporary rug collection designed for the UNSW Art & Design 2015 'Rug Up' exhibition. Each of the four designs have been inspired by aesthetics which are appealing to adults and children, considering the essential, enduring role of relationships between youths and their elders in past and present societies of human civilisation. The customs of contemporary society have been learnt from persons who have imparted their experience upon those younger than them. Accordingly, the collection seeks to comfort and unite adults and children within their shared environments in order to facilitate teaching and learning.
