'From Rags' is a contemporary scarf design inspired by traditional Japanese textiles and practices of reuse, where yarn and fabric remnants are not disposed but used to produce textile forms of renewed practicality. The piece has consequently been produced from fabric remnants transformed by indigo dyeing, shredding, plaiting and knotting.
