Hannah Keogh's project is specifically concerned with immersing a non-expert audience in the certain threats to the Great Barrier Reef. Within a tangible and explicit exploration of cascade effects on coral reefs, this installation stands as an experiential and emotional platform to reconnect communities in awareness of their individual power in creating sustainable futures. The audience is invited to actively participate and pledge environmental consciousness, by taking a piece of string and winding it around the pegs protruding from the installation. Combined participation will attribute to the restoration of colour/life back to this complex ecosystem.
