Although Kareena Zerefos anticipated that her response to such a remote environment would be that of isolation and even loneliness, her experience of Fowler's Gap was the opposite. Kareena felt a great sense of expansiveness, and even aspects and elements that were fragmented, removed or disconnected, resonated a sense of unity and oneness for Kareena.
Zerefos filmed this work at dawn, up on the ridge towards the Leopard Tree, by sitting her camera on a rock facing west to record the experience of light connecting with the Earth.
