'Textile Alchemy' is an exploratory app which aims to provide university textile students in Australia a platform to exchange information about ecologically sustainable plant dyeing methods that create minimal harm to the maker and environment. When used properly, natural dyeing is more sustainable than synthetic dyeing, particularly on a small scale. Therefore, it is more environmentally sound to raise awareness of natural dyeing. The design of isabellawildey's app raises students awareness of the benefits of natural dyeing, thereby contributes to sustainable textile practice.
